Active Dundee serves the local people and clubs of Dundee and the surrounding areas. We are part of Leisure and Culture Dundee, a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation that manages 21 public facilities on behalf of Dundee City Council. Our work includes recreational activities and working with partners to create targeted programmes to meet specific needs, offering a wide range of activity from ice skating and swimming, to walking and wildlife.
The Opportunity: Social Media and Content Creation - Project Placement (1 Role) placement types
Location: On-site at HQ and across Active Dundee facilities
Placement Tasks: 1lwq
- Generate social media content for Facebook, TikTok and Instagram to engage participants between 12 and 25 with our services
- Review our current social media content, and make recommendations to improve reach to 12 - 25 year olds.
- Collect content showcasing our activities, participants and coaches/staff to generate engagement, thus widening our reach on social media. Content can include photos, reels, interviews etc, and should resonate with the target audience
- Work alongside our Media and Marketing Team to experience day-to-day planning, tasks, and meetings.

- Experience in content creation
