Compliance status 4c4k5u
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content 1s1f6l
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations 39356t
Alternative text for images 2n35p
The majority of images on the site are decorative and do not require text alternatives. There are a small number of images that have text embedded. In the majority of cases this text is also presented in an accessible way on the same page but in a limited number of cases this may not be present. These instances fail WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content). This is being addressed as we revisit all content.
Captions for videos o5ei
Some older embedded videos don't have manually created captions/subtitles and these rely on automatically generated captions which are not fully accurate.
These instances fail WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.2.2 Captions (Prerecorded).
All new videos now include manually created captions which are visible by default.
Pages do not make use of ARIA landmarks 4g2y2m
The main page template does not include ARIA landmarks which help to define the structure of the pages and aid navigation.
These instances fail WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and relationships).
A solution to this is currently being investigated.
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations 6pq4q
PDFs and other documents 2f54n
Some of our PDFs and Word documents are essential to providing our services. For example, we have PDFs with information on how s can access our services, and forms published as Word documents.
The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services
We are working to ensure that we minimise the use of PDF documents but where this format is required we will ensure that the documents produced are accessible.
Embedded Google maps 372l2i
An embedded Google Map is used on our s page to display a list of our office locations. Google Maps is not fully accessible.
We also provide a link to view this map directly in Google Maps website/mobile app. The location of our offices is also made available in text format in the linked page.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility 225e22
We are continually looking to make improvements to the usability and accessibility of our websites. Accessibility is a priority for any future developments to the site and we will work to address any specific accessibility issues reported by s of the site using the details above.
